This is a project that I created in BIT. The portfolio was about our lives, what we liked to do, and what we did on a daily basis. I liked the fact that it was fun to make and easy to navigate around. I found it difficult to make all of the slides flow together and make it look good. It worked out well because I budgeted my time well and worked on it in my free time. If I were to do it again, I would make it more legible and add more items.

This is a PowerPoint presentation that I used for my Unit 4 Project about the Oregon Trail for U.S. History. I enjoyed learning about something so interesting in our countries past. It made it easier to understand because I had actually played the game before. I found it difficult to find just the right pictures for my slides. It worked out well because I matched my speech with my PowerPoint. If I were to do it again, I would add a few more pictures and make it even more interesting.

Communication Process

Demonstrates growth and competence in:
public presentation of self, interpersonal relationships (peers, family, teachers, mentors), public speaking

This is the speech that I wrote for my Pikes Expedition Project for U.S. History. I enjoyed learing about Zebulon Pike and Pikes Peak. It was even more interesting because I have actually been there before. I found it difficult to put the 'change slide' marks at different parts in my speech so the speech and powerpoint will flow well. It worked out because I budgeted my time well. If I were to do it again, I would make it longer.

This is the work cited that I used for my Pikes Expedition Project for U.S. History. I enjoyed reading and learning about a man named Zebulon Pike. I liked how bibme.org was so easy and simple to use. It also did the citations correctly. I found it a bit difficult to save it to my computer, though. It worked out well because it proved that I didn't plagiarize my project. If I were to do it again, I would add more cites.
